Parks & Recreation Staff
I graduated from Tallassee High School in 1984 and earned a baseball scholarship from Faulkner University. In 1990 I graduated from Faulkner University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and began teaching at Southside Middle School. During my thirty-one years of teaching, I coached football, baseball, and softball. I was a part of 5 baseball State Championships and 2 as Head Coach as well as one State Championship in softball as an Assistant Coach. My wife Melanie and I have been married for 23 years and we have three children Logan, Taylor, and Brandon. We love to spend our time together at the lake, fishing, and watching baseball.
Megan has been a resident of Tallassee for the last three years, but plans on making Tallassee her forever home. She plans on returning to school to finish her degree in business administration soon. As the office manager, Megan hopes to assist in growing the recreation center and making an impact on the community. Megan has one daughter named McKenzie. She enjoys watching McKenzie play softball and spending time with her fiancé, daughter, and family in her free time.
